It seems that the two legends of boxing are not singing from the same hymn sheet. Most sources seem to imply that Pacquiao is keen as mustard to get Mayweather in the ring, but apparently Mayweather doesn’t like the persistent pressure to get it done. Mayweather’s team insist that he would ordinarily fight him no problem, but he is not the sort of guy to respond to pressure. Unsurprisingly then, Pacquiao’s corner insist that this is just a tactless side step of a fight that Mayweather has a big chance of losing! If anyone can dethrone ‘The Money Team’, it’s Pacquaio, and I think both Pacquaio and Mayweather know it, which perhaps explains why Pacquiao is so keen to get it on, and Mayweather is happy to side step it.
