Now consider being in this position…literally! A daredevil that set his sights on crossing the Green Lake in Tragoess, Austria, a distance that equates to the same as 3 football pitches has captured the admiration of people around the world. Any world record is impressive, but ‘waterlining’ on a slack rope requires a honed set of skills including ultimate coordination, proprioception, unwavering concentration and a transverse abdominis (TVA) that Superman would be proud of! The core strength needed to maintain your balance on a rope that is no more than an inch wide is worthy of any world record!

Extreme sports champion and rock climber Mich Kemeter, 25, took 20 days and a staggering 20 attempts to make it across the stunning mirrored lake. In doing so he succeeded in breaking his own world record, testament to his resilience and peak level of conditioning.
