The Phone App That Claims To Improve Peoples Eyesight…Eye Eye!

The app is called GlassesOff and uses series of patterns to create 15 minute exercises for users. So far the app has been a hit, and the makers say that if done 3 times a week there is a chance the person won’t need reading glasses after 3 months.

The GlassesOff founder Nimrod Madar said:

'Traditionally, near distance reading improvement solutions were limited to optical corrections such as glasses, contact lenses and refractive surgery,'

'However, human vision performance is in fact limited by two factors: the quality of an image captured by the eye and the image processing capability of the brain as it interprets such images.’

Whether there is any truth in this claim and whether this would work for the general public is speculative, but interesting all the same.
