Pre- Workout Powder Gone Hard & Lumpy… Here’s Why!

Not everybody will relate to this, but I’d bet that if many of you have ever tried a pre- workout supplement that contains either citrulline malate and/ or L- carnitine in powder form… then you might know what I mean.

If you’ve ever applied moisture to sherbet, then you’ll notice that it goes a little stick and clumpy, well this can happen to a pre- workout too, even if there is no moisture penetration at all!

Some pre- workout powder have been known to become clumpy, as if water has managed to penetrate the seal even though it has been stored in a dry environment! A number of industry experts seem to think that citrulline malate and L- carnitine may be the reason for this clumping, but the mechanisms at play here are a little unclear.
