How To Prevent Water From Boiling Over : Useful Little Fact...

Most of us have had to endure the frustration that comes with water boiling over the top of your pan, it makes a mess and could even cause injury! On top of this, should the water be that from boiling pasta or rice then no doubt you’ll appreciate how difficult it can be to get the starchy residue it leaves behind. OK, so here’s the fix…DO NOT leave a pan unattended. Simple. However, we all divert our attention elsewhere from time to time maybe to cut some veg etc, so if you feel this may be a possibility then place a wooden spoon over the top of the pan, this way should the water rise to the surface then it’ll touch the spoon and simmer back down.

This should work, but please do exercise caution when cooking and trying this at home…we accept no liability for any issues that may arise when cooking.
