Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddignton, London, on May 2nd, 2015. Whether you are a Royalist or not, it is hard to ignore the splendour of a Royal birth, especially one that sees them sitting fourth in line to the throne of England. Prince George was born at the same hospital in July, 2013 and will no doubt be very pleased to meet his baby sister. The name had generated a lot of interest with bets being placed on the baby’s name, front runners included Alice or Charlotte, whilst Elizabeth, Victoria, Olivia, Alexandra and Diana all in the running. Charlotte seems to have been agreed as it is the female equivalent of Charles (Prince Charles), and is also the middle name of Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa.

May Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge have a long and prosperous life that is full of happiness, fun and laughter.
