Product Review: High5 Nutrition Protein Hit

Looking for a nutrition packed nutritional solution that’s easy to take anywhere with you? The High 5 Protein Hits may be just what you need…Using premium ingredients they make a great snack on the go - no added sugar or preservatives and gluten free too.

Who are they for? What ingredients do they contain?

The High5 Protein Hit’s bridge the gap between a sports and an everyday product. They are doing really well in circles of those who are active yet have busy lives who demand quality ingredients and this is no surprise!

These little Hits pack quite a punch and we can see them being ideal for a range of people and situations. Whether it’s after an exercise session, out and about (cycling or hiking for example) or as a snack they seem ideal.

Texture & Taste

Overall, we liked the taste and texture of the Protein Hits. They are designed to pack maximum nutrition into just a small 50g ‘Hit’…for those who really appreciate this kind of thing, they’re ideal.

We had over 15 active professionals (including cyclists) try these and they found them a great product, an ideal solution for fitting into their busy lifestyles.

When it comes to texture, they’re quite tense and eating them a bite at a time is the best way to go. Whilst they’re only small, they pack a fair bit into them…making them a satisfying, satiating snack.

Taste wise, the most popular seemed to be the Peanut and Caramel, followed by the Cacao & Orange…with the Coconut, lemon and raspberry following closely behind. No flavours received bad feedback, however people certainly had their favourites.

The ingredients for these little gems is pretty good! Containing a ton of ‘natural goodness’ you can see how they are so packed with energy and quality nutrition…perfect for the health concious, busy and active person.

MAY CONTAIN DATE STONES.

Peanut & Caramel

PEANUTS 34%, DATES, SUNFLOWER SEEDS, WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE 10% (MILK), CURRANTS, SULTANAS, HUMECTANT (VEGETABLE GLYCERINE), RICE FLOUR, SALT, NATURAL FLAVOURING (CARAMEL), SUNFLOWER OIL, EMULSIFIER (SOYA LECITHIN). MAY CONTAIN DATE STONES.

Coconut, Lemon & Raspberry

SULTANAS, COCONUTS 14%, CURRANTS, SUNFLOWER SEEDS, WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE 11% (MILK), CASHEW NUTS, WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE 5.5% (MILK), RICE FLOUR, HUMECTANT (VEGETABLE GLYCERINE), GLUTEN FREE OATBRAN, LEMON JUICE 2%, SUNFLOWER OIL, EMULSIFIER (SOYA LECITHIN), NATURAL FLAVOURING (RASPBERRY).

Overall Thoughts

These are definitely a ‘Hit’ with us, for sure.

Excellent ingredients packed into an easy to eat on the go snack, making it convenient nutrition personified.
