A Real Life Castaway Is Hailed ‘The Miracle Man Of The Pacific’

Many people might think that they can relate to what it must feel like to be castaway on a remote island in the middle of the Pacific ocean, particularly if you’ve watched the film Castaway starring Tom Hanks. However, only a miniscule number of people in the world will fully appreciate what it must actually be like to have to live off raw fish and turtle blood whilst drifting in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!

Jose Salvador Albaniaga aka The Miracle Man Of The Pacific has shocked the world by surviving 14 months drifting in a 24ft boat…not even on an island…but on his boat! He claims to have set off from El Salvador in Dec 2012 but accidentally drifted 8000 miles to the Ebon Atoll. The 14 month drift came to an end when he finally hit the Ebon Atoll and locals discovered him washed up on their shore. The locals then put him into another boat and took him to their local village where they cleaned, fed and looked after him until he was flown back to Mexico.
