The final video in this mini series brings me to talk about Rest Times. This is really important because the length of time you rest for can depict on what type of training method you are going to adopt. Rest times in between sets doesn't mean you can talk to your friends, send a text message or write an email to someone. No, you need to stay focused and concentrate on what you are doing. Remember in my first video in this series I spoke about intensity.
When you rest, make sure you are resting for the appropriate times depending on what you are training for. For strength training you will need to rest longer than when you are training for hypertrophy. Be sure to keep a track on your rest times and make a note of these in your log. When you come to change your routine, adapting the rest times will help you grow.
