Ross wanted to take his body to the next level and decided to lose 24 lbs in 24 hours to prove a point. Sports scientist and writer who is 28 years old wanted to prove that you can lose weight without dropping any fat. His reason for doing this was to also prove that the weighing scales aren't what we should be concentrating on.
This is quite a dangerous activity to perform and Ross consulted a doctor before taking part in the experiment, so please don't try this unless you absolutely know what you are doing. He ate nothing for a 24 hour period and exercised, drank only 100ml of water and rushed to the loo 20 times. He also used diuretics to help flush out as much water as possible and again, these can be dangerous to your health if you overuse them so please check with a doctor first.
Ross' experiment will hopefully target and help many people in their quest to lose weight and how just because you step on the scales one day and compare it to the next with a deficit, it is likely to not be body fat and just water. For piece of mind, within 2 hours Ross was back to his normal weight and eating and drinking water again :)
