Salt Doesn't Cause High Blood Pressure...


A recent study of more than 8,000 French adults found no link between salt and high blood pressure. A small percentage of people in England suffer with hypertension and normally we associate that with high salt diets. Doctors have always warned us that consuming too much salt can harm your body, but there isn't really a link anymore. It kind of goes without saying that we should keep salt low, however sugar seems to be more of a problem these days. If in any doubt, try and keep everything balanced and make sure you eat enough fruits, vegetables and healthy foods :)
