Serena Williams Wins Again

In case you missed it over the weekend, Serena Williams won again in the US open. This is now her fifth US Open title and 17th grand slam and at the age of 31 years old she is now the oldest Open Era in US Open history.

Going into the final on Sunday she hadn't lost a single set to an opponent. She faced Victoria Azarenka in the final and it went to three sets. Serena won 7-5, 6-7, 6-1 and spoke of how Victoria was a tough opponent but she clearly wasn't tough enough to stop the formidable champion. Serena is the worlds number 1 and we like to think she will remain this way for quite some time, great job Serena!!
