Can A Single Food Source Provide You With Everything You Need?

The answer is no, but allow me to make a quick and yet pertinent point. No single food stuff contains all the essential nutrients the body needs to be healthy and perform optimally. The only foodstuff known to man that does, is breastmilk for babies, and it makes sense because milk is the only source of nutrition they have up until around 6 months of life. The key to health and vitality in adults then lies not in a single food source, but rather in a balance of various food sources including fruit, veg, starchy carbs and protein.
