Scientists are recommending parents to cover vegetables in different sauces to help their children eat them for life. This little trick is possibly something you have heard of before but perhaps not used yet. A recent study found that children who were introduced to Brussels sprouts with cream cheese on them, later in life could eat them plain.
How effective is this long term? I believe that this is fine to do if it is a short term fix and the children eat the vegetables without the sauces. However, these sauces are sweet and could be addictive, therefore it might not be so effective. What do you think? Is this something you use with your children?
