Stephen Sutton : A Teenager Who Inspired The World Has Died

If you hadn’t heard already, a young man who developed colorectal cancer in his early teens managed to muster such resolve and courage that he won the affection and attention of the world. Stephen Sutton was told his cancer was terminal, that it had spread and tragically he would probably not make it past his 19th birthday. The sad news broke today, starting with a touching and emotional post from his Mother on Facebook, explaining that this incredible young man had finally slipped away. Aside from bravely fighting cancer to the last, Stephen raised millions of pounds for charity via his just giving page. You can still donate to his page now once it has been restored after it crashed due to the large volume of donations since his death. This young mans passing, his courage and passion for life, all served as a shining example of what it means to embrace life and make the most of every precious minute you have on this planet…this was his lasting message. Stephen, your legacy will live on long after we all do young man, thank you. Rest in peace.
