Don't Get Sucked Into A Gimmick Idea....

I know so many of you are starting out on your journey to make a change in your physical appearance and I also know that this entire process is very hard to achieve. It's hard because you have to be more organised and prepared, exercise, eat good food and most of all, STICK to it all. You have to basically put yourself into the unknown because all you know at this moment in time is the start and your visualised end product, but there is obviously a whole lot of stuff going on in the middle of it all too. Along your journey there are going to be some distractions that will tempt you into thinking there is a quicker way of doing things. Here is the low down...

Shortcuts

There aren't any. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and let me tell you something, nothing worth having comes without struggle and sacrifice, meaning that you have to put in hard work to see the right results. There will be opportunities which arise that suggest you could go onto a 5 or 30 day plan with guaranteed results at the end of it. I urge you to avoid these plans like the plague because anything that says you can reach your goals in 5 minutes is a total lie. All these companies are interested in is your money and not your health or reaching your goals.

What Should You Do

Initially, have a 4 week plan that you can stick to and give yourself a goal for the end of this short period, but make no mistake in thinking you will have reached your goal at this point. Every 4 weeks if you should be aiming for something so that each month that goes by sees you physically and mentally getting closer to your goal.

Don't Fall For Tricks

Don't fall for tricks and shortcuts. As mentioned above, there are none and the only way of actually achieving your goal is by doing it everyday. You will likely see fat loss pills and the ultimate muscle building proteins which give you results in a matter of days. You will see commercials that advertise a product that no one else has and will put you in the shape of your life within 7 days. Don't believe none of this as it is all baloney and these companies only prey on people who are naive to fall for it.

Stick To The Plan

The most important thing to remember when you begin your journey is to know that it takes time to achieve the goal you set out to achieve. There are no over night results, shortcuts, secret pills, special supplements or training methods. There is just you and your goal and a whole lot of hours working towards it every single day. If you believe in it, you can achieve it. Go for it :)
