You Might Be Supplementing Well, But Are You Getting Enough Exercise?

You’d be surprised how many people out there invest lots of their hard earned money on our excellent range of supplements, only to wonder why it is they struggle to gain muscle or lose weight (whatever their goals may be). Truth is, many are investing their money without investing effort into exercise, meaning results are going to be few and far between. The British Nutrition Foundation (BNF) is an expert body in health and nutrition, they have looked into why it is people may suffer these frustrating plateaus in results only to realise that simply…people aren’t meeting the minimum requirement for physical activity!

The BNF suggest (via the Department of Health) that people aim to perform a minimum of 150mins of moderate intensity aerobic activity a week, or 75mins of vigorous intensity aerobic activity (or a combination of the 2). A good way to achieve this is to aim for a minimum of 30mins activity a day, 5 days a week. If activity is particularly tough for some people, then breaking it down to multiple bouts of 10min sessions is an option.
