How many of you are still sticking to your New Years Resolution of becoming a healthier and better you? As we come to the end of January some of you might be answering yes, others maybe answering no to this question. The initial push may have seen you in the gym 5 times a week and now 3 weeks later you can barely make one decent session without something coming up? It's easy to put it off and say you will do it tomorrow but getting out of a routine is much easier than getting back into one, so this is a post to help you continue or get back on track should you need it.
Remember Why You Started...
The best thing you can think when you feel like you're steering away from your goal is to ask yourself 'why you started' in the first place. What was it that made you start something you ultimately were going to finish. You see, when you start a new goal, there is always something that is driving you, it's very rare to just start something for the hell of it and having no intentions in completing it. We all start something for a reason and you need to re connect with the reasoning behind wanting to change the way you look and feel.
If It Was Easy...
Many of you will have heard of the saying 'if it was easy then everyone would be doing it' and this rings true with different people trying to reach a certain goal. If your goal could be achieved by the click of your fingers then surely everyone would be looking fantastic and feeling healthy? The fact is, it's not easy and it requires you to put in a lot of hard work and dedication to see the final result.
Hard Work Pays Off
Make no mistake about hard work and consistent action, both of these qualities pay off and will certainly fuel your reward. It's not always easy to see the finish line but you'll make it as long as you're willing to put in 100% hard work to ensure you get there. You have to put in the effort to see the change so when you wake up feeling kind of tired and not wanting to do much, this is when you have to snap out of it and push yourself through.
The fears and limits you place upon yourself when trying to reach an end goal doesn't exist, fear is not real and you should face it and deal with it. Did you know that fear actually means 'false evidence appearing real' which means if you can create fear you can sure as hell destroy it. If your goal is to lose weight or gain it, don't put any limitations on what you can achieve, just go for it and overcome it.
Get Back On Track
Find some motivation within to get yourself back on track by listening to some motivational speakers, watch some videos or write down what you want to achieve from your goal. By highlighting what it is you want to see, you will soon rebuild the fire within to make something of your goal. No more excuses, just go after your dream!!
