There are two different types of vitamins, fat soluble and water soluble. How many times have you been told that if you are feeling under the weather you should have some form of vitamin C? This could be anything from increasing your intake of fresh fruit, strawberries in particular as they contain high amounts of it, or supplementing with tablets. Did you know that Vitamin C is water soluble which means it isn't stored within the body and you will need to top it up frequently throughout the day.
So unlike Vitamins A,D,E and K which are fat soluble you will need to supplement on Vitamin C throughout the day. Excellent sources of Vitamin C are strawberries, oranges, broccoli, tomatoes and kiwis. Beat the cold by increasing your Vitamin C and zinc intake to develop an awesome immune system :)
