Tour De France Riders Give Whole New Meaning To POWER!

There is no getting around the power endurance that these cyclists exhibit during the 90 hours raced throughout the Tour de France! However, a leading physicist has performed some interesting research looking into the amount of power generated by reigning champion Chris Froomes bicycle during the Tour. Dr Simon Foster explains how all cyclists competing in the Tour de France will eventually generate enough energy to power a TV for 20 years!! That’s 20 years of Eastenders for just 90 hours of charing…not bad at all!

The power generated by Chris Froome alone could have powered one TV for 900 hours…that’s 37 days!
