Did you know the first thing you do before you start this journey is working out your BMR (basal metabolic rate) which calculates how many calories you burn whilst resting. This is simply how many calories you use up just if you were to lay in bed all day and do nothing.

Losing body fat is a science and you shouldn't just guess it. Make sure you work this out by doing an online calculation and going from there. From knowing your BMR you can then add activity level, introduce a caloric deficit and so on...
