Yoga : Keep It Interesting & Optimise Performance By Varying It Up


Do it naked… Seriously, this is socially acceptable now, in fact, yoga classes are oversubscribing people for the pleasure! Classes are performed COMPLETELY naked, and get this, their mixed gender too!! This may seem crazy but there are many spiritual benefits to be had, and the increased mobility that is synonymous to yoga can help to relieve aches and pains and improve overall quality of life.

Do it in the moonlight… It seems that unrolling your yoga mat in an open space such as a field, dimly lit by moonlight is another novel and beneficial way to enjoy the pleasures of yoga. Yoga performed in and amongst nature is by definition, natural, and there is a direct link between spirituality and the peaceful outside. Moonlight yoga was originally coined back in 2012, it is now mainly funded by private donations to the Liberty Parks and Recreation Department Charitable Fund, but there are of course private institutions around too.
