9 essential amino acids per 10g scoop, 30 servings
CNP Loaded EAA 300g is an essential amino acid powder built around all nine essential amino acids rather than the three found in a BCAA. Each 10g scoop carries 8 kcal, 0.5g of carbohydrate, no sugar and no fat, and the 300g tub holds 30 servings.
CNP state 7.3g to 8.1g of essential amino acids per scoop depending on flavour, including 3.0g to 3.3g of leucine. On the published Cherry Cola label the blend totals 7300mg, made up of 3000mg L-leucine, 1150mg L-lysine, 810mg L-threonine, 660mg L-isoleucine, 620mg L-valine, 430mg L-phenylalanine, 310mg L-methionine, 260mg L-histidine and 43mg L-tryptophan.
The distinction worth understanding is EAA against BCAA. A BCAA contains leucine, isoleucine and valine. An EAA contains those three plus the other six essential amino acids, which are the ones the body cannot synthesise and has to take in from food. Loaded EAA leads on leucine, the largest single amino acid in the blend at 3000mg against 1150mg for the next largest.
It is a flavoured powder rather than a protein, and the panel declares zero protein per scoop, so it does not replace a protein shake. It mixes at 10g into 350 to 500ml of cold water. Contains E129, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Produced in a facility that handles milk, egg, soy, gluten, nuts and peanuts.
