250mg caffeine + 4g citrulline + 3g creatine per scoop
Applied Nutrition ABE Pre Workout is the brand's flagship stimulant pre-workout powder for regular gym-goers. Each 12.5g serving delivers 250mg of caffeine, 4g of citrulline malate, 3g of creatine monohydrate, 2g of beta-alanine and 400mg of taurine. The 375g tub provides 30 servings across more than 12 flavour options.
Citrulline malate at 4g drives nitric oxide production for blood flow and pump. Creatine monohydrate at 3g contributes to performance in successive bursts of high-intensity exercise. Beta-alanine at 2g buffers lactic acid accumulation to extend working capacity before fatigue sets in. Caffeine at 250mg delivers focus and drive. Taurine at 400mg and choline bitartrate at 250mg support mental clarity and reduce the caffeine edge.
What separates ABE from other pre-workouts in this tier is dose honesty across the full formula. Many competitors at this price lead with caffeine and under-fill the pump and strength actives. ABE delivers 4g citrulline alongside 3g creatine in the same 12.5g scoop - both at doses that matter - at a cost per serving that sustains daily use for high-frequency trainers.
ABE suits competitive gym-goers running 4-5 sessions per week who want one product to cover their full pre-workout stack. It is not the right choice for trainees who are caffeine-sensitive or who train late at night.
Stim-free pump alternative: XL Nutrition Purge Pump 300g delivers 4g L-citrulline malate, 2.5g betaine, 1g taurine and 1g beetroot powder per 10g scoop (stim-free) at £11.99 for 30 servings (just £0.40 per scoop). That's about 45% less per serving than this product's £0.73/serving cost.

The UK's best-selling pre-workout, trusted by millions of gym-goers.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much CAFFEINE is in each serving of ABE Pre Workout?
Each serving of ABE Pre Workout declares 250mg of caffeine on the label. Alongside the headline dose, the label also declares 4g of citrulline malate, 2g of beta alanine, and 3g of creatine monohydrate. The full label is published on this product page so you can cross-check before stacking it with anything else.
When should I take ABE Pre Workout?
ABE Pre Workout is best taken 20-30 minutes before training, on an empty stomach where possible. Consistent use over time tends to do more than precise timing, so build it into a daily routine and let the habit do the work. Pair it with a balanced diet and a structured training plan, since supplements deliver against an existing stack, not on their own.
Is ABE Pre Workout third-party tested?
ABE Pre Workout is manufactured by Applied Nutrition in their UK facility. Many Applied Nutrition ranges carry Informed Sport batch testing for banned substances, so check the on-pack badge if Informed Sport status matters for your federation. The full ingredient breakdown and allergen disclosure is published on this product page, so you can review what is on the label before adding it to your stack.
ALLERGENS: No common allergens included. Produced in a facility that handles milk, soya, eggs, fish, celery, cereals containing gluten and products thereof.

Flavour is not good very
Flavour is not good very sweet but my mind set is that if it tastes bad it's good for you and I this definitely works bit if added strength and pumps are are good and come around quicker than normal, it's not super soilder formula like many reviews will have you thinking it's a nice bonus to have especially early hours of the morning
